Cedar Park reschedules southbound 183A lane closure for Sunday
The City of Cedar Park says the southbound 183A lane closure has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 1. An earlier notice said TxDOT planned to narrow the roadway between 1431 and Brushy Creek Road for about three weeks for the Frontage Road Project.

What changed
The latest city update moves the southbound 183A lane closure to Sunday, Nov. 1. For Cedar Park drivers, that means the work affecting this corridor is now tied to today’s schedule rather than the earlier October timing.
What drivers were already told
The city’s earlier notice said TxDOT would cut southbound 183A from three lanes to two between 1431 and Brushy Creek Road. It also said the closure was expected to last about three weeks as part of the Frontage Road Project.
If you use that stretch, build in extra time and watch for signs in the work zone. The city is also directing residents to its social channels for the latest updates.
